About the Role
We're looking for a recent graduate or early-career software engineer to join our engineering team. You'll work across the stack, contributing to production features that are actively used by clinical teams in labor & delivery units. This is a hands-on role where you'll write real code, ship real features, and learn how to build reliable software in a healthcare setting with mentorship and support from experienced engineers.
What You'll Work On
- Building and maintaining backend APIs and frontend features
- Working with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7
- Writing unit and integration tests for production code
- Debugging real production issues and improving system reliability
- Reviewing code and receiving structured feedback on your own PRs
- Collaborating with clinicians and internal stakeholders to understand real-world workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or M.Eng. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (experience with both is a plus)
- Understanding of REST APIs and relational databases
- Comfort using Git and command-line tools
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Clear written communication
